In Kazakhstan, auto fleet forces may be involved to call an ambulance. This was announced at a press conference in the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Health Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexei Tsoi, reports.

"The number of calls throughout the country has increased on average by 1.8 times and in such cities as Nur-Sultan, Almaty – by 2-2.5 times. There is an acute problem of shortages of brigades and ambulances, in connection with which contracts have been concluded for the supply of 807 domestic-made ambulances; the experience of foreign countries on commissioning of CORONA-TAXI with the involvement of auto fleet forces, vehicles of non-medical organizations has also been worked out. I hope the offers will be supported," said the Health Minister.

In his opinion, under the current conditions, the most reliable and safe solution for patients is the provision of medical care at home.

“Outpatient care is being transferred to remote work format, about 3 thousand mobile teams are planned to be created at the district level. They will ensure home visits for medical workers, take COVID-19 tests, advise patients and prescribe treatment, draw up temporary disability sheets, as well as remotely monitor the patient’s condition," added Tsoi.
