Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan G. Abdykalikova arrived in East Kazakhstan region at the head of the task group for public outreach on the new state social support measures, reports with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

The Government delegation made the first stop at the Semey ambulance hospital, built under the state program "100 hospitals, 100 schools".

Next, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population inspected the work of the Public Service Center, the processes of rendering public services in electronic format.

In Semey the task group held a meeting with the public, followed by G. Abdykalikova’s personal reception of the citizens and her visit to large families. One of such families is raising 14 children. The large family thanked the state for the 7 land plots provided to them and the donated Gazelle car. Another family with 8 children expressed heartfelt gratitude to B. Ibraev, founder of Akken LLP, for donating a new private house to them.

In the afternoon, the working trip continued in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The first stop there was the Robotic Surgery Center, whose doctors had performed more than 1 000 operations (200 operations on an angiograph, 800 urological operations and 123 robotic surgeries).

Transplant Center has been opened at this clinic that performed kidney transplants. The Vice Prime Minister and the task group members met with residents of the region, which was at the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University. Mothers of large and low-income families, labor veterans, disabled people, teachers, doctors, members of the public were invited to it for the outreach on new social protection measures to the population, development of education and health care, and housing provision mechanisms. Homes of large families were visited that needed state support and were given it, namely in accommodation and sponsorship in homesteading and house repairs. 

Then, in the video link mode, a retreat was held at the Coordination Council in the field of social protection of persons with disabilities. It summed up the implementation of the third stage of the Action Plan to ensure the rights and improve the quality of disabled people’s life. About 12 billion tenge was allocated for its implementation. 

In addition, a draft National Plan to ensure the rights and improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2025 was discussed, and Gulshara Abdykalikova gave a number of specific instructions.

Program Akniet was presented at the boarding school for children with disabilities. Within its framework, a training course of 1200 teachers is planned, including in 2019, 500 teachers should complete advanced training courses on inclusive education. To date, there are 13 psychological and pedagogical correction rooms in the region. This measure will allow children with special educational needs to receive free services of correctional teachers within walking distance.
