In Kazakhstan, special attention will be paid to formation of a qualitatively new human capital. This was said in the Statement on the annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan by the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"All levels of education system must meet the current realities and needs of the economy, while the prestige of the teacher's profession must be increased. In healthcare, the use of new technologies should significantly improve the prevention and treatment of diseases, and improve the quality of medical care," the President said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also noted that in 2016-2017, social payments were increased three times. Including basic pensions - by 29%, solidarity pensions - by 32%, salaries of health workers increased up to 28%, education - up to 29%, civil servants - by 30%. This trend will continue.
"This year, budget expenditures for social sector are increased by 12 percent and exceed KZT 4 trillion", - the Head of State stressed.
