Indian company to build pharmaceutical plant in Kazakhstan

RV Healthcare (India), which has been working in the RK market for 10 years, together with its Kazakhstan partner, produces five drugs and plans to increase investment up to $ 30 million in order to create pharmaceutical production in the republic. This became known during the Kazakh-Indian Investment Forum held in the capital of India - New Delhi, Abctv.kz reports.

A number of agreements were reached during B2B meetings with such major Indian companies as NTPC, Shalimar valves, CG group, Artemis hospitals, Venky’s chicken farm.

In addition, a preliminary agreement was reached on construction of a transport and logistics hub in the area of Astana International Airport. 

Recall the Kazakh-Indian Investment Forum was held in the capital from 12 to 14 November 2018. The Kazakhstan delegation was headed by Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazakh Invest" Saparbek Tuyakbaev. The delegation also included the heads of more than 10 leading companies of Kazakhstan. As noted, Kazakhstan and India fruitfully interact in a wide range of areas, such as space, military-technical cooperation, IT, Fintech, oil and gas, banking, etc.

The current Kazakhstan-Indian trade turnover is about $ 1 billion.
