Kazakhstan recorded 31st deaths from coronavirus

The Health Department of Pavlodar region registered the death from coronavirus, 31st in the country, Kazpravda.kz refers to the HQ of the State Commission’s update.

As it became known, a 57-year-old resident of Pavlodar was diagnosed with COVID-19. The man was hospitalized with acute bronchitis and had type 2 diabetes.

On April 26, due to the worsening condition, he was transferred to the intensive care unit of the hospital. Consultations with republican specialists were held daily.

On April 29, the patient recorded an increase in respiratory failure, and was connected to a ventilator.

May 2 recorded a sharp deterioration in the patient's condition. A cardiac surgeon from Nur Sultan was invited for a consultation.

Despite the intensive care, the patient's condition worsened. On May 6, at 8:40 p.m., biological death of the man was pronounced.

The total number of registered cases of CVI in Kazakhstan by date is 4,690.
