Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azhar Giniyat spoke about preparations for the second wave of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.

According to the vice-minister, preparations are underway in polyclinics for the second wave and for the rise in seasonal diseases.

"Today, all polyclinics have drugs for outpatient treatment for CVI. These are 5 drugs that will be prescribed by local doctors. For this, in preparation for the second wave of coronavirus infection, Kazakhstanis do not need to buy any drugs. Also, patients with acute respiratory viral infections and various pneumonia are provided with medicines according to the list of free drugs", - said the speaker at a briefing in the CCS.

According to her, the list includes antipyretic, anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics. Medicines will be prescribed by doctors according to the patient's condition.

"Now you need to protect yourself. To do this, you need to keep a social distance and constantly wear masks, observe sanitary rules. Now the specialists of the ministry see that doctors receive patients by appointments only, but still there is a crowd of people in hospitals," the vice minister continued.

Giniyat also added that if symptoms of colds appear, you should immediately contact your local doctor. If symptoms appear in the evening, then you need to call an ambulance.
