New clinics to open in Kazakhstan

About 10 new medical organizations will open in seven regions of Kazakhstan until 2025. This was announced by the Health Minister of Kazakhstan Yelzhan Birtanov at a press conference in the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"As part of the order of the Head of State, the additional 120 billion tenge will be allocated for development of the healthcare sector, and 10 medical organizations are planned to be built in 7 regions: Karaganda, Mangistau, Turkestan, North Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan regions, Astana and Almaty. About 100 000 patients will be treated in new hospitals," said Birtanov.
In addition, according to him, within the framework of the PPP, 15 large multi-profile hospitals will be additionally built instead of 56 obsolete ones.
"In general, until 2025, over 800 billion tenge will be invested additionally within the framework of the Single perspective plan," the minister concluded.
