Wages in healthcare to be raised in Kazakhstan

On the order of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, from July 1, wages of low-paid public sector workers, in particular in healthcare, will be raised in Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.

Gaukhar Bisarina, press secretary of the RK Health Ministry, shared in Facebook how from July 1, the salaries to medical workers of the country will increase. 

The salary of nursing staff will grow to 99,131 tenge, junior staff - to 64,520 tenge. General practitioners and pediatricians will receive up to 151,816 tenge; obstetricians and gynecologists, neonatal specialists- up to 138,013 tenge; emergency staff, anesthesiology and intensive care specialists - up to 141,512 tenge; oncologists, hematologists, psychiatrists - up to 131,229 tenge; other staff - up to 113 008 tenge.

It will be recalled that at the XVIII Congress of the Nur Otan Party in Astana, President Nursultan Nazarbayev ordered to raise wages of low-paid public sector workers by 30% from July 1, 2019.
